Dr. Nora Balota graduated in December 2014 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. Before opening her own dental office in 2017, she associated in several private practices. There, she realized that traditional dentistry does not have good solutions for chewing system disharmonies. Typically, these manifest as TMJ (jaw joint) problems, facial muscle pain, headaches, and uneven tooth wear. Her quest to understand these relationships lead her to the Institute for Orognathic Bioesthetics (www.bioesthetics.com) where, during three years of coursework and residency-like hands-on training, she learned how to successfully diagnose and treat such complex conditions.
Dr. Balota is one of only seven dentists in the state of Colorado who have graduated from this institute, attesting to her commitment to the highest standard of care. She continues to regularly allocate time to attend continuing education classes. When necessary, she collaborates with specialists in town to achieve the best treatment outcomes for her patients.
Enthusiasm, energy, dedication, but most of all, love for the patients and the profession of dentistry are some of the things that characterize Dr. Balota. She loves working with children and adults alike, and will give her best to make you feel welcomed and special when you come for an appointment.
In her spare time, she likes to bake, cook, spend time with her husband and their two children,
go for a walk, and enjoy good food together with friends and family.
